Opposing Views: Using Marijuana For Morning Sickness Miracle Cure or Criminal Act?

Excerpt:

According to the Mayo Clinic's Mary Murry, anywhere between 50 to 90 percent of pregnant women experience some nausea - to varying degrees. For most women, the nausea peaks, says Murry, around nine weeks and ends by about the 18th or 19th week of pregnancy. For five percent of unlucky women, however, it persists until the bitter end. It's hardly surprising. If you've been pregnant or know someone who has, it's likely that the saccharine sweet euphemism "morning sickness" doesn't do justice to what you or your friends have felt. For some pregnant women, the nausea passes quickly and easily. For others it becomes a daily - or even hourly - battle between ones' body and ones' intellectual understanding that if one doesn't consume a crumb of food at some point one will slowly starve or starve ones' poor, growing embryo or fetus. This condition is called hyperemesis gravidarum and the constant vomiting and nausea lead to extreme weight loss and even malnutrition for the woman. It's dangerous.

My Thoughts:

Time and again, we need to stop with this stigma against cannabis. More and more evidence is being discovered from numerous, reputable studies suggesting the great healing qualities of cannabis. This article here is just another clue to the goodness of cannabis. My heart goes out to all the women who suffer from hyperemesis gravidarum during pregnancy and have found no effective treatments. Plain and simple, let's legalize people!

Cops In the Sky

Imagine this: It's a gorgeous spring day in Miami and you're thoroughly tempted to lower the top of your rental car and push the power pedal a little too hard in a bid to break free from the traffic crush on the Palmetto. But, though there may not seem to be a heavy police presence on the freeways on this particular day, you can be pretty sure that someone up in the sky is keeping a close eye on speeding vacationers and the massive traffic tailbacks they're trying to avoid.

Welcome to Florida, and aviation law enforcement from the state's Highway Patrol. It's one of the few states in the U.S. that employs aircraft to monitor speeders reckless drivers and, sometimes, soon-to-be felons fleeing a police pursuit (Nevada and Minnesota are among a dozen others). And if you never quite realized what those strange white lines on freeways mean, well, now you will.

My thoughts:

If you thought the streets were safe, think again. If you're gonna be out driving, BE RESPONSIBLE!!! Law enforcement will never lessen its efforts to keep a watchful eye on us, and this is just one of many methods being taken to keep us in line. In lieu of current events, I have very mixed feelings about this in terms of rights to privacy issues and such. However, it is a fact that people need to be responsible on the road. Be careful out there people!

The War on Drugs Has Failed

This isn't the best drug legalization presentation I've seen, but this definitely makes the case for why drug legalization, specifically cannabis legalization, is imperative in the stabilization of the socioeconomic structure of our country and worldwide. Prohibition does nothing but cause more problems. Wake up people!

NIH Study Shows Tough Regulation Can More Effectively Reduce Teen Drug Use Than Prohibition

Excerpt:

Clearly, the real reason marijuana use is now ahead of cigarette use among teens is because use of tobacco has fallen steadily over the past decade. This fall in tobacco use is largely thanks to regulation, education, taxation, and tougher age restrictions.

NIH Study Shows Tough Regulation Can More Effectively Reduce Teen Drug Use Than Prohibition via Just Say Now

My Thoughts:

This is just plain common sense. Education is hugely important, which is why movements such as Truth are so powerful in curbing tobacco usage amongst everyone, particularly teens. Regulation is also hugely important, for you're able to take a product out of the hands of criminals and into the hands of more responsible managers. Street dealers have no rules or regulations; they don't require age limits or IDs - only that you're not the cops and that you got the dough. We need to regulate and tax cannabis to make it less accessible to teens and more safe for adults. Let's get it goin'!

Times 2010 Person of the Year: Mark Zuckerberg

Excerpts:

Almost seven years ago, in February 2004, when Zuckerberg was a 19-year-old sophomore at Harvard, he started a Web service from his dorm. It was called Thefacebook.com, and it was billed as "an online directory that connects people through social networks at colleges." This year, Facebook — now minus the the — added its 550 millionth member. One out of every dozen people on the planet has a Facebook account. They speak 75 languages and collectively lavish more than 700 billion minutes on Facebook every month. Last month the site accounted for 1 out of 4 American page views. Its membership is currently growing at a rate of about 700,000 people a day.
........
This is the modus operandi of Facebook and the ecosystem of developers who create applications for it: move into a market and take it over by making it social, as the in-house parlance has it. They have one big weapon, the social graph, and it's a category killer. Games are another good example. There's a company called Zynga that makes games designed to be played on Facebook. They're laughably simple by today's big-budget, high-concept standards, but they're social. In FarmVille, you can visit your friends' farms. In Mafia Wars you can take a hit out on your friends. Mafia Wars currently has 19 million players. FarmVille has 54 million. Investors value Zynga, which is only four years old, at $5.4 billion. That's more than Electronic Arts, which is the second largest games publisher in the world.

My thoughts:

Mark Zuckerberg is truly a genius in his own right. Though Facebook isn't the first social networking website, it is unquestionably the best and most successful one hands down. I myself own accounts on numerous social networking sites, including (but not limited to) Friendster, Tagged, Hi-5, MySpace and Bebo. I can't remember the last time I checked either of those. However, I've checked my Facebook multiple times today. I'm probably going to check back again after this blog. I enjoy checking in with old friends and associates on a day to day basis, often times sharing my likes and dislikes with the world and partaking in eye-opening discussions with those whom, otherwise, I could never confer with. Facebook has a very bright future as long as it keeps up the good work!

Top 10 TV Commercials of 2010

Preview:

Since television first became available to Americans (circa 1947), people have been able to relax in the comfort of their own homes to watch a variety of programs – sitcoms, soap operas, sports, made-for-TV movies, variety shows, dramas, talk shows, games shows, reality shows ... well, you get the picture.

The one thing all of these programs have in common? Ugh! Commercials. But wait, hold the phone. Some aren't so bad and actually quite often serve a purpose. They use creative concepts to grab our attention, all while telling us why we should buy their car insurance, apply for their credit cards or watch their upcoming movies. Some commercials actually give us some comedy relief to go with our head cold or heartburn.

In a historic vote, the Senate overturns ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’

Preview:

After years of contentious debate, the Senate on Saturday voted to repeal the "don't ask, don't tell" policy that blocked gays and lesbians from serving openly in the military.

While critics, including Arizona GOP Sen. John McCain, said the repeal would cause a deadly distraction on the battlefield at a time of war, the lawmakers backing repeal equated the vote to other historic moments including the end of racial segregation among troops in the 1950s and the decision to allow women to attend military service academies in the 1970s.

It's about time we get rid of this policy! One of America's inherent problems is that it was founded on segregation and prejudice against certain groups of people. Though we continue to suffer from the effects of those actions today, America can reclaim its status as a great country once we eliminate discrimination against any and every group of people!

The 50 Greatest Chicago Rap Songs

Preview:

Chicago. The Windy City. The Second City. The City of Hella Haters. Call it what you want, just don't call it a city that hasn't contributed to hip-hop's legacy. Often dismissed as a town buried within "flyover states" and a place where people only listen to house music, Chicago has a rich hip-hop history that dates back to the early '90s, when its two most prominent artists—Common and Twista—landed deals and released their debut albums. Representing different sounds and different sides of town, these two kicked down the doors that ushered in a whole slew of innovative and unique artists who were making music differently than their counterparts on the coasts. From the wild styles of Crucial Conflict to the laid-back, pimptastic sounds of Do or Die, Chicago was breaking through with slang and swagger unseen in other regions of the U.S. Years later, a boisterous up-and-coming producer would emerge as arguably the greatest and most polarizing rap artist of all time and change music completely. The City of Broad Shoulders, indeed. Now, we easily could've made this list based on Kanye, Twista, Common, and Lupe records alone, but there's more to Chicago's story than just these four juggernauts. In the immortal words of No I.D., "the one that's in the middle is the one that sees the most." Marijuana Has Rocked the West Coast, And Now New England Is the Next Frontier for Reform

Excerpts:

New England may be the next frontier for reforming the nation's marijuana laws.

Maine and Rhode Island are moving toward creating a dispensary system for medical marijuana, and Massachusetts decriminalized marijuana in 2008. In Connecticut and Vermont, incoming governors are expected to be much more sympathetic to similar moves than their predecessors were. New Hampshire's legislature passed a medical-marijuana bill this year, but its upper house failed to override a veto by Gov. John Lynch.
........
Last October, a Gallup poll found that 47 percent of Northeasterners supported legalization, the second highest regional level in the nation after the West's 58 percent. More than 60 percent of liberals and people under 30 backed it, but only around 30 percent of Republicans, conservatives, and people over 65 did.

We just need to legalize cannabis already. Our economy is in dire straits right now, people are suffering all over the map, and people are being unjustly persecuted by the federal government and law enforcement for consuming a plant that is scientifically proven to provide numerous medicinal, social and economic benefits! This is just plain sad. Ignorant people are constantly, repeatedly being lied to. What's worse is that Fox News continually pushes forth RIDICULOUSLY FALSE information, giving more evidence that it's literally insane to be a republican/tea party supporter. I cannot understand why Fox News' propagandizing is being allowed to continue! @ any point in time you can tune in to a Fox News program and witness something that would make any logical person cringe due to its blatant lies and false news spins! This goes to show how our political system is broken, which is having a hugely negative impact on our society, and it shows why conservatives who love Fox News need to change their primary news source. @ the end of the day, these days it is insane to be a Republican, for you support the fall of America and the human race in general.

Truckers say L.A.'s 'green' port costs them money

Excerpts:

The lease process, drivers say, means that much of the financial burden — including paying for servicing needed to maintain trucks' green capabilities — falls on drivers. Environmentalists argue that the fleet may soon turn dirty again as cash-strapped drivers skimp on maintenance charges that rise as the vehicles age.
........
The drivers have more job security as independent contractors, Owen said, citing the seasonal nature of the business. "We have peaks and valleys, and the drivers know that," Owen said. "If they were all employee drivers, I might have to lay them off during the valley times."

This whole thing stinks to high heavens. It seemed like an awesome idea, @ first, and it was, but thanks to venture capitalism, got scaled down to bullshit in which nobody wins in the end. Because of this wretched economy and the corporations the lobby against green energy, it's nearly impossible to make a conversion to alternative energies, and stories like this one only hurt our efforts to curb our energy crisis. We gotta figure out how to revamp our strategies and change the system so that we can all win in the long run.....

10 Hateful Anti-Gay Myths Debunked

Excerpt:

Ever since born-again singer and orange juice pitchwoman Anita Bryant helped kick off the contemporary anti-gay movement more than 30 years ago, hard-line elements of the religious right have been searching for ways to demonize homosexuals — or, at a minimum, to find arguments that will prevent their normalization in society. For the former Florida beauty queen and her Save Our Children group, it was the alleged plans of gays and lesbians to “recruit” in schools that provided the fodder for their crusade. But in addition to hawking that myth, the legions of anti-gay activists who followed have added a panoply of others, ranging from the extremely doubtful claim that homosexuality is a choice, to unalloyed lies like the claims that gays molest children far more than heterosexuals or that hate crime laws will lead to the legalization of bestiality and necrophilia. These fairy tales are important to the anti-gay right because they form the basis of its claim that homosexuality is a social evil that must be suppressed — an opinion rejected by virtually all relevant medical and scientific authorities. They also almost certainly contribute to hate crime violence directed at homosexuals, who are more targeted for such attacks than any other minority in America. What follows are 10 key myths propagated by the anti-gay movement, along with the truth behind the propaganda.

10 Hateful Anti-Gay Myths Debunked via Alternet

I think it is ridiculously sick that people are continuously finding reasons to hate others. It further sickens me when religious folk who preach God's love purport hate to anyone, especially those in the LGBT community. It is unquestionably clear that the world would be a better place if we could all learn to accept each other for who we are and love one another. Granted, there are definitely some sick people out there whose interests are more than questionable, to say the least, but we are all imperfect beings who, @ any point in time, can and do make profound mistakes which potentially undermine our progress as a species. We do not necessarily need to agree on every subject, but it should be necessary that we @ least attempt to understand each other. We can't we all unite and work together to make the world a better place?

Save the Children Breaks With Soda Tax Effort

 Excerpt:

"In interviews this month, Carolyn Miles, chief operating officer of Save the Children, said there was no connection between the group’s about-face on soda taxes and the discussions with Coke. A $5 million grant from PepsiCo also had no influence on the decision, she said. Both companies fiercely oppose soda taxes."

If this isn't COMPLETE bullshit, I have NO IDEA what is! Growin' up in the hood, kids in my hood had/have easy access to cheap junk food yet not to healthy, vitamin-enriched food. For example, my little cousin used to be an ordinary, skinny kid. Now, he's morbidly obese wit' diabetes @ the age of 22, goin' on 23. This is a horribly systemic problem, b/c McDonald's is ridiculously easily affordable to Americans, esp. those hit hardest by the recession. Our country has soooooooo many systemic problems which need to be radically reformed ASAP. This is but one of them. It's really sad b/c you would think that Save the Children would be a forerunner in something like this, but they just proved that they care more about donations than the welfare of the children they were supposedly fighting for. THAT is the saddest part about this to me......

U.S. Called Vulnerable to Rare Earth Shortages

 Excerpts:

Still, the report presents a fairly gloomy assessment of the United States’ ability to wean itself from Chinese imports. For as long as the next 15 years, the supplies of at least five minerals that come almost exclusively from China will remain as vulnerable to disruption as they are absolutely vital to the manufacture of small yet powerful electric motors, energy-efficient compact fluorescent bulbs and other clean energy technologies, the report said.

No Jobs? Young Graduates Make Their Own

Excerpts:

Is Amazon Evil?

Excerpts:

Today an estimated 75 percent of online book purchases in the United States are made through Amazon, and its overall market share in book sales is astonishingly high. Some publishers make more than half of their sales through Amazon. So when Bezos rang the death knell for the physical book, people paid attention. Even before the Kindle, Amazon wielded enormous influence in the industry. Now it is positioned to control the e-book market and thereby the future of the publishing industry.
........
Nonetheless, cases of disappearance continue. Amazon doesn’t always go as far as delisting books entirely. Sometimes it just makes them impossible to purchase by taking the “buy” button off a title’s page. In 2008 two huge British publishers—Bloomsbury and Hachette—had their buttons pulled. That same year, Amazon also removed buy buttons from any printon-demand publisher that didn’t use Amazon’s on demand printer, Book-Surge, a move that led to an antitrust lawsuit in which Amazon agreed to pay a settlement to a competitor, though it admitted no wrongdoing. The Author’s Guild recently launched WhoMovedMyBuyButton.com in order to keep track of buy buttons.

Drug Czar Blames Rising Teen Pot Use On Medical Cannabis Laws Rather Than On His Own Failed Policies

Excerpts:

Further, the Czar is well aware that throughout this period of time, youth-reported use of marijuana declined across the nation — including in the very same states that enacted medical cannabis access. NORML Advisory Board member Mitch Earleywine co-authored a comprehensive review of this data here, concluding: “More than a decade after the passage of the nation’s first state medical marijuana law, California’s Prop. 215, a considerable body of data shows that no state with a medical marijuana law has experienced an increase in youth marijuana use since its law’s enactment. All states have reported overall decreases – exceeding 50% in some age groups – strongly suggesting that the enactment of state medical marijuana laws does not increase marijuana use.”
........
But wait, it gets even sillier. One statistic gleaned from the Monitoring the Future study that was not emphasized by the Drug Czar (for obvious reasons) was that more than eight out of ten 12th graders report that marijuana is “fairly easy” or “very easy” to geta percentage that has remained constant for three and a half decades!

A Secretive Banking Elite Rules Trading in Derivatives

A Secretive Banking Elite Rules Trading in Derivatives via the NY Times

Election Results (originally created on Nov. 17, 2010)

For those who don't know me, I'd like to give a brief summation of my personal beliefs: I am a liberal elite. In other words, I am pro-choice, anti-religion, pro-marijuana legalization, pro-governmental regulation, anti-free markets, I believe in a safe, habitable environment, etc. You get the hint.

In this day and age, all of our rights and freedoms are becoming increasingly challenged, and Americans have a right to be angry about it. However, as much as I try to be objective about politics, I seriously CAN NOT understand why the general public voted for so many republicans. Even my home state of Illinois, well-known for being a solid democratic state, decided that our state senator should be a republican.

In theory, this is all well and good. Republicans believe in the free markets, non-regulation, and less government involvement in our everyday decisions. Unfortunately, in the real world, the republicans have proven to be nothing less than INSANE!!! No offense to you conservatives out there, but you can't seriously believe that in today's world, your ideas will actually work can you? The republicans vowed to cut taxes for the wealthy, repeal "Obamacare", and, most maddening, REPEAL FINANCIAL REFORM!!! The Tea-Party themselves don't even HAVE a real plan! All the wanna do is cut stuff, but whenever you ask them what they wanna cut, they NEVER give you a direct answer!

I admit that I'm not the smartest cookie in the jar, but I do pride myself on having @ least half-way decent common sense. Let's look @ the facts. The Glass-Steagall Act, founded in 1933, which instituted regulations for banking practices, was repealed in 1999 under the tenure of Pres. Clinton as an act of compromise with republicans whining about the authenticity of free markets. With the war in Iraq, failures of Pres. Bush, including the disaster of Katrina, our country was digging itself into a huge economic hole. Then everything went to shit when the financial fuck-up of '08 occurred, requiring the taxpayers money to bail out the huge banks (which would have fallen by free market standards) to avert a national disaster. Even Bush himself prided himself on breaking free market principles to save the free market system.

Americans, GET IT THROUGH YOUR THICK HEADS!!!! The free market system DOES NOT WORK!! Well, let me be more specific. IT DOES NOT WORK - FOR US!!! Unless you're one of the financial elite, in the top 1% of economic wealth, free markets will not work for you! Despite your hate for "big government", it is unquestionably needed to keep big business in check. Think about it like this. If you owned a store with expensive merchandise, yet you had no security cameras, no security guards, no censors attached to the merchandise, how in the hell could you protect your store?!?! Your workers and your customers would still stuff all the time!!!

That's why our government works on a system of checks and balances. That's why business has a system of checks and balances. Every business gets audited by independent companies, including the auditors themselves. That's how the Enron scandal came to pass - Enron was cooking its books, paying Arthur Anderson to look the other way. Then it came to light that Arthur Anderson had done faulty audits of other institutions. DO YOU KNOW HOW COMMON THIS WOULD BE WITH NO REGULATION?!?!?

As for cutting taxes for the wealthy, somebody please tell me how this is supposed to help our country! Somebody tried to explain to me that by cutting taxes for the wealthy, they'll be more likely to "invest in the businesses that create jobs". There's only one problem with that - THE EVIDENCE CLEARLY SHOWS THAT THAT WOULD NOT HAPPEN!!! The wealthy could do that RIGHT NOW if they wanted to, but they don't. Cutting taxes would do nothing but put more money into their bank accounts.

On top of everything, people are still denying climate change and refusing to partake in helping the environment. This is despicable and it needs to stop. Solar, wind, bio-fuel and many other alternative energies should be common-place by now, but because of big business and people's stubbornness regarding sacrificing for the good of our country, we are in a supremely dangerous place. If we don't make a change now, we might have to start looking towards Mars or the moons of Uranus for living.

America, the results of this election clearly show, without a shadow of a doubt, that you have seriously FAILED! You know you fucked up right? We have got to stop this madness once and for all or we as a people will be DOOMED! WAKE THE FUCK UP PEOPLE!!!!

Anti-Gay People Rant (Disclaimer: I'm Not Gay lol)

To all you anti-gay people

Holy crap, some of you people seriously SICKEN me! I can’t believe half the CRAP that flies outta you people’s mouths!!! First of all, just so nobody gets it twisted, I’m super duper uber straight lol. Second of all, I was a Christian for 6 years and seriously studied the bible @ a Christian college, learned a LOT about theology and earned my degree before I dropped the whole religion thing because of how ridiculous I feel it is.

That being said, I don’t understand how any of you can say “homosexuality is learned and can be unlearned”. ARE - YOU - KIDDING ME?!?!?!?! Have you ever taken a psychology class ever? If you use that same logic, heterosexuality is “learned” and can be unlearned too, right? So, somehow every straight guy “learned” to like girls and “learned” to develop their tastes in women and vice-versa for women, too, right? So who was your teacher? Yo mamas? Daddies? Teachers? Did you have homework and essays you had to complete? Did you get an A on your thesis? Do you know how INSANELY RIDICULOUS you people sound?!

The point I’m trying to make is that our sexual desires are NOT “learned”; they’re biological. I never “learned” to like females with curves and large butts and nice teeth; I just do. I never "learned" to love hip-hop; it speaks to my soul. I never "learned" to love fried chicken; it's embedded in my gene pool. None of you were “taught” to be straight; you are ’cause you just are. So how can you say being gay is “learned”? I mean, it’s one thing if you just don’t like homosexuality; that’s fine. You’re entitled to your opinion. But, the least you could do is not be so ignorant and stupid about it! All y’all know y’all got a gay cousin/uncle/nephew/friend/etc. that y’all KNOW wasn’t “brought up to be gay” ’cause they got straight parents with straight brothers or sisters! I've got friends and family who are gay, whom I love dearly. I don't look @ them as "sinners" or "abominations" because they are who they are; they struggled for years to come to terms with who they are and realized that it was just them. They're still good people (for the most part lol) who are just tryna make sense of this crazy world like you and me.

@ the end of the day, the fact that you even care about what gay people do and how they live is ridiculous. Nobody’s mad @ none o’ y’all for all the trickin’, gold diggin, irresponsibility; all the crap that y’all be always into. Spittin’ a bunch of old ass irrelevant bible verses doesn’t make you sound intelligent or give your belief system any real credence ’cause you’re still stuck in 70 AD with your philosophies and we’re already in the 21st Century; y’all need to catch up for real! Half of you can't even do basic algebra but you can recite bible verses from 13 BC written in ancient Greek & Hebrew as if you know somethin' I don't. What y'all ultimately need to do is learn to love EVERYBODY EQUALLY, mind ya own damn business, and focus on more important issues like givin’ me 10% of yo’ money every week or legalizing marijuana ’cause people like y’all are the REAL reason this country is goin’ to the “hell” that y’all love tryna send people to.

What boggles my mind about this whole "Illuminati" fiasco is that people seriously act so belligerent and pretentious of their (lack of) intelligence of the Illuminati, as if they're above everybody else who isn't "in the know". You people need to begin practicing ritualistic suicide or somethin' because I CANNOT conceive of how supposedly intelligent people can believe in something soooooo preposterous!

The thing that drives me crazy the most is that most of these conspiracy theories have NO FACTUAL PROOF TO SUPPORT THEM!!! Wait, so you're gonna take everything this guy says as truth, no matter what? Tell me what makes him credible. Did he work in the white house for 40 years and unleash secret documents suppressed by the CIA? Was he a part of a secret covert ops faction that spied on people for years? Did he hack the government mainframe to obtain hidden files that expose the most prominent in our society? No, he's just some nigga from the hood who can't speak English very well and can't do simple math (90 + 15 = 100? I don't think so!).

When did people begin just believing any and every dumbass thing they heard? You can't believe ME when I say something ridiculously factual and logical with credible sources cited, but you can believe Sarah Palin when she mentions death panels huh? I remember I used to be super into conspiracy theories - when I was 15. When Sept. 11th happened, I LOVED reading text/watching videos about conspiracy theories surrounding 9/11. The most prominent of them all was called "Loose Change" - a documentary made by 2 idiotic (at the time) college students whose sole purpose was proving that George W. Bush was behind it all. @ the time it came out, I loved it. I'll admit, I was tellin' errbody (yes, that spelling "error" was on purpose) about it and what I thought about it. Then, one day, I came across this e-booklet that TOTALLY DEBUNKED EVERYTHING in Loose Change. For instance, one part of Loose Change mentioned how the fires from the planes could not have burned hot enough to melt the steel structure in the buildings. While that may have been actually true, you gotta read between the lines when it comes to statements like that. The directors frame it as if there was an elaborate scheme where secret bombs planted all throughout the building were set to go off after the planes hit. However, when you read the booklet and watch the video of the towers fall, you'll find that while the fires might not have burned hot enough to MELT the steel, it was definitely hot enough to cause the steel structure to WEAKEN and BEND, leading to the collapse of the towers. PLUS, when you see a demolition occur in any building, you see lots of bright lights flashing from a building and hear multiple explosions, which WAS NOT the case in 9/11. Conspiracy theory DEBUNKED.

I'm beginning to believe that Conspiracy Theories = Religion. They have no fundamental support for their claims, the more you learn about them, the less viable they become (even @ the very core), and many, many people BLINDLY believe them without questioning or fact-checking their sources. I don't understand how, for instance, Christians can read one book (the bible), a book known for its many questionable ethical principles, factual/logical errors, and even questionable penmanship (did Moses write the entirety of the Pentateuch?) without reading extra-bliblical works by others (such as exegeses and such) who have done very in depth research about it and call themselves true Christians when they don't know ANYTHING about the history behind what they believe! Like, how can you read the same book over and over again and come to different conclusions or learn something totally new every time you read it? Think about it like this. I watched all of the Matrix movies. Part 1 is really straightforward, so it doesn't really take a lot to understand it. However, Parts 2 & 3 get really complex and abstract, so half of the time it's difficult to fully understand the symbolism and depth in dialogue. While you can watch the movies over and over again, you can only learn so much with limited knowledge. However, if you go out and READ what OTHER people have to say about them, even if their views might be in opposition of each other or even to yours, you might learn something new and provocative.

Also, most notably, for you people who claim to be "in the know" about Illuminati/other conspiracy theories, you probably haven't read this far because you don't like to read or find credible sources to back your claims, so imagine every of the worst obscenities being stated right here and hurled directly towards you and your mama for giving birth to idiots like you haha. I mean, you claim to be soooo "knowledgeable" about the Illuminati and all this other bullshit, well, then, WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT?! Fight the power? Lead a revolt against the system? Mobilize the people to think and act? Stand up for your beliefs and convince others to do the same? Make a radical change to the system? Begin a coup d'etat against the government? No? You're not gonna do anything @ all? Oh, alright then, sit down and shut the hell up! You have contributed nothing vital to the conversation other than your stupid, outlandish theories with no credible sources to back your claims. Stay out of grown folks business and go play somewhere; I'm busy!
