Truckers say L.A.'s 'green' port costs them money via The LA Times
This whole thing stinks to high heavens. It seemed like an awesome idea, @ first, and it was, but thanks to venture capitalism, got scaled down to bullshit in which nobody wins in the end. Because of this wretched economy and the corporations the lobby against green energy, it's nearly impossible to make a conversion to alternative energies, and stories like this one only hurt our efforts to curb our energy crisis. We gotta figure out how to revamp our strategies and change the system so that we can all win in the long run.....
